Next Tuesday, January 15th marks the release of the latest album by Long Island-based Rice Cultivation Society. In anticipation of Sky Burial, the band is sharing the single “Honey Hide.” Reminiscent of the guitar-driven indie rock of the 90s, “Honey Hide” snakes guitar riffs along driving rhythms towards mountainous peaks.
Over the past few years, Mecca Lecca has been fortunate enough to book several concerts with Rice Cultivation Society. Their spectacular live performances and wonderful records won us over, leaving us with no choice but to sign the band and begin spreading the message about Rice Cultivation Society.

Taking a rest stop back in New York City between his seemingly endless tour dates, Christopher Paul Stelling played Last.fm’s CMJ showcase at The Living Room on October 17th.
